Wish List

Seeing as my Birthday/Christmas (yes, they happen to fall on the same day) is in a month I figured I would post my wish list so if any one actually reads this maybe they can get ideas for their Holiday wish lists or discover some new websites for clothing and you can see more of my personal style.
Enjoy!

Ron English "Seasons in Supurbia"

Last weekend I went to the opening of Ron English's "Seasons in Supurbia". It was amazing. It's not something I've done often but it's always so much fun and so eye opening to go to art exhibits and to discover new artists. I'd never heard of Ron English before but now I am officially a life long fan. His work is beautiful, funny, and has something to say at all once. If you've never heard of him I suggest you take a look, he's very talented and has a lot to say.

There were lots of photographers and while browsing blogs about Ron English's opening I found a picture that was taken of me.

Even though I didn't know I was going to an art exhibit opening earlier that day I feel I dressed rather appropriately.
You can see more pictures from the opening and some of the amazing artwork here:

I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving. My mum and I are going to the Civic Auditorium to help at the Westside Thanksgiving dinner.

Inspiration Post- Tim Burton

Finally hit the studio yesterday with Adam for More & More's first real practice. It was weird hearing my voice through the PA system and we have a long way to go before we're performance ready, but I know that what we have is amazing and we're gonna go places. So be on the lookout for a facebook page, or maybe even a Twitter.

Tim Burton is a genius. I think we can all agree. He creates these amazing images and worlds in his head and manages to make it work. I appreciate that he's so unconventionally creative and thinks outside the box. Mostly I love his aesthetics. I would probably wear every single thing every single one of his characters have worn. It's all beautiful and unusual.

I recently modeled for my friend's Tony and Guy hair show. The theme was Tim Burton and I got to walk the runway as Lydia Deetz.

It was a lot of fun to be part of and see all the different characters get re-imagined. The costumes, the make-up, and especially the hair was all fantastic.

Inspiration Post- Bones

I completely forgot about this blog. It's been nearly a year since my last post... I guess it's time to remedy that.
I think I'm going to just make posts about what's inspiring me at the moment. They will usually have a theme. Then I'll probably just ramble on about what's going on in my life.

Right now my band More & More is going to start renting practice space since we've been practicing acoustically in a park for a couple months it's time to get serious. We're going to start recording and when we do I'll post where to find all that good stuff.

You can find these bows here: http://www.etsy.com/shop/VoodooVintageShop

Recently I've gotten really into skulls and skeletons. There's something spooky and sexy and interesting about them. I really wouldn't be opposed to having all my clothing covered in skulls and bones. I would actually be quite pleased with that.
What inspires you?
